Artist, Kiki Curry, Opening Reception, Oct, 3rd, Goodrich Gallery, Dallas

Kiki Curry
As Above, So Below

Reception: Sunday, October 3: 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. in the gallery

“As we create in thoughts and actions, we realize a higher force at work in our very skies. As we leave the beauty of the skies of earth, our horizons evolve into a far greater expansion that is endless. It is the unending story of creation and evolution giving us a greater understanding of how much there is to learn from merely being mesmerized by the yet to be discovered universe. It is from the images taken from the Hubble telescope that unlocked my creativity to express in art: AS ABOVE, SO BELOW.

Art is my passion and a window into my soul. My background includes owner of The Toadstool in North Dallas where I taught fiber art. From there I travelled the country selling my work through art shows for over 25 years. Traveling opens me to a sense of the magnificence and appreciation of nature’s beauty. My joys are hiking, biking and capturing beautiful moments with photography. Nature, the animal kingdom and admiring Spirit within all living things, is the source of my inspiration.
In 2005, I began studying painting under the tutelage of Fransois Arenas and Bonny Lebowitz as well as the Institudo del Arte in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. My current body of work can be viewed on http://www.kispirit.com as well as galleries in the DFW metroplex listed on the Web site. I’m a member of the Cross Timbers Artists. It is my wish that you are touched by my artwork as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
I welcome you to commission your visions for your home or business and to make your creative dreaming a reality.”

The Goodrich Gallery is pleased to showcase the artwork of this talented artist. We hope you will visit the gallery often during October, and that you come to the reception on Sunday, October 3 to meet the artist in person.

Gallery hours are Sunday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m. – Noon.

Call Music and Arts, 214-220-2727, ext. 218.
